About PTI Security Systems Europe
PTI Security Systems Europe, the most trusted name in access control and security for the self storage industry.
PTI Integrated Systems (UK) Limited was formed in May 2005. It was formed as a merger of self-storage and security expertise in the areas of sales, management, engineering, and product development.
The company was initially dedicated to only the UK and Ireland markets, providing the required focus for a maturing industry. It was a tremendous success and proved the business model based on industry knowledge and customer service.
In 2010, PTI Integrated Systems (UK) acquired the European business, and the company was renamed EOS.
John D’Aprano and Barry Rimmer were directors and co-owners of the company. They brought many years of experience in their specific areas of expertise.
The company restored the PTI name and became PTI Security Systems Europe. In 2023, it was absorbed into the DS Security Group, and the business was purchased by PTI North America, which is, in turn, owned by ASSA ABLOY.
With the new ownership, PTI Security Systems Europe continues the legacy of providing integrated self-storage security solutions and products.

Managing Director - Matthew Whitaker
Matt is an experienced leader with a 22-year career focused on strategic development and delivering measurable results. He has brought the worlds of Supply Chain and Logistics together with Real Estate to initiate market-leading innovations and growth enablers.
Director - John D'Aprano
John has specialised in installing security equipment since 1990 and provides the technical and engineering drive for the business. Under John’s watchful eye, an increasing number of engineers are now trained in the installation of PTI access control and security products.
