Introducing the AP1+ Smart Keypad

AP1+ is a purpose-built gate keypad that leverages the most current cloud-based technology and learnings from AP1 to meet the expanding needs of customers and operator use cases.

Key Enhancements Include:

Integrated High-Res Camera and Two-Way Audio: A built-in 2MP wide-angle camera captures time-stamped images and continuous video (if enabled) of every visitor, using the facility’s existing CCTV system. Automatic lighting, powered by high-intensity IR LEDs and an internal light sensor, ensures clear visibility even during low-light conditions. The integrated two-way intercom (microphone and speaker) allows operators or tenants to communicate directly with visitors via SIP account. This previously unavailable real-time verification capability enhances security by providing an additional observation point and ensuring only authorized users gain entry. Video streams can be integrated with your site manager’s PC, cell phone, or call center, and optionally streamed 24/7 with footage stored in the network video recorder (NVR).

Redesigned Weather-Resistant Clamshell: The keypad’s attractive 2 mm marine-grade stainless steel chassis and screw hinge facilitate field servicing and resist tampering. Interior electronics include active surge protection and are backed by a two-year warranty, minimizing downtime and maintenance calls.

Complete Control & Analytics: AP1+ requires no extra hardware to connect to existing PTI systems. Operators can remotely configure settings and monitor status in real time. Every entry event is logged, giving managers a complete audit picture. Detailed reports and alerts improve efficiency across multi-site portfolios.

Touchless Mobile Access: Integrated with PTI’s StorID mobile app, tenants can open gates with a swipe of their smartphone or automatically once within range of the smart device while the StorID app runs in the background. Next-generation Bluetooth connectivity provides greater wireless range and reliability, letting drivers unlock gates from inside their cars. A backlit keypad provides alternative manual entry.

Streamlined Upgrade Path: AP1+ replaces PTI’s legacy APEX keypads and most competitor units using the same wiring and mounts. Its future-ready design enables easy accessory additions, managed through the same interface, and over-the-wire updates ensure the newest features and security patches are applied automatically.
